Most Clothing Ends Up In Landfills–Here's Why I Wear Bamboo

I’ve been wearing bamboo clothing for about a year now and I'm so excited to share their newest collection and the benefits I’ve experienced since wearing bamboo. If you love sustainable activewear and athleisure, but also want to positively impact the planet, this is for YOU.

Did you know that 73% of clothing ends up in a landfill?

BAM Bamboo Clothing is on a mission to be impact positive by 2030. This means identifying and quantifying any negative impact they have and reducing it to ZERO.

why bamboo?

Bamboo Clothing is a clean alternative to synthetic activewear. From the world’s most sustainable crop.

Bamboo absorbs 5X more carbon than hardwood trees.
Bamboo needs half the land cotton needs to produce the same amount of fiber.
Bamboo doesn’t need irrigation or pesticides.

This is my MOM! She also loves rockin that bamboooo

wearing bamboo

What I love most about wearing bamboo…

Bamboo is 3x more absorbent than cotton, keeping you feeling fresh and dry, without getting smelly so you can get more wears between washes.

Bamboo is incredibly comfortable, durable yet SUPER soft (Bamboo is to cotton what cashmere is to wool).

I wasn’t expecting this but noticed that my skin looks healthier (less ingrown hairs/dry skin) from wearing bamboo fibre vs. synthetics like polyester.

THE BEST FOR LAST, ACTIVE DENIM IS A THING!!

It’s active denim meaning you can wear them hiking, climbing or even practicing yoga. I put them to the test and they are soooo comfortable, functional and soft.

As someone who appreciates attention to detail, I LOVE the design on the back pocket, representing the global temperature rise from 2006 to 2020. See below…

If you’re interested trying bamboo for yourself, you can shop the collection my mom and I have been wearing below. Or head over to BAM Bamboo Clothing to shop their wide range of activewear and athleisure.

P.S. they just came out with an insulated puffer jacket that i’m OBSESSED with.
